I fell in love with Algonquin Park during an amazing trip in mid-June to Algonquin's Achray campground . Twenty minutes into the 12-hour drive home, I had already decided that I would come back to experience more of what Algonquin Park has to offer. After many nights of research and planning, I was ready to really challenge myself and explore the park's interior. My journey began at Canoe Lake, just off of Hwy #60, 14.1km into the park. I would spend the next 11 days paddling and portaging deep into the interior of Algonquin Park to Big Trout Lake in a loop that returned to where it all began on Canoe lake.
