It's October again and with it not only comes the short days and cold nights but also some of the best backcountry canoeing in Algonquin Park. If you've got good rain gear and a warm sleeping bag you're in for a real treat since the biting insects are non-existent and so are most people! We found out last minute we had the Thanksgiving long weekend off together and decided there was no better way to spend the time than to throw together a four day trip into Booth Lake.
