It's mid october and the canoe season is almost over as the temperatures are getting colder each night. We decided to end the season with a 9 day looped trip starting at Lake Opeongo traveling north as far as Lake La Muir and back again. We set off with high spirits and eager to see the fall colors of Algonquin Park despite troubling weather forecasts. Here's our journal of what mother nature had in store for us.
