So it's been just over a week since we came back from our 10 day big trout trip and we're starting to get restless already. Since we only had a few days available for a trip, we decided to hike the Western Uplands 35km inner loop backpacking trail located just inside the West Gate. We arrived at the park in the late afternoon and having drove several hours by this point, we decided to stay at the Cannisbay campground and hit the trail head by first light the following morning.
